Wenzel Voodoo Child Wild Free Pinot Gris 2021

From winemaker Michael Wenzel comes this skin-fermented Pinot Gris, an orange wine with a color closer to red, due to Pinot Gris' dark berry color. Clean and fresh, with savory herbs, grapefruit and red berries.

Michael grew up in the vineyard and making wine with his dad and grandfather at their family estate that dates back to 1647. Once Michael and his wife Sonja officially took over, they converted the vineyard to organic farming.

His “Wild and Free” label set out to evoke the lightweight, low-alcohol, chillable reds his winemaking family long enjoyed with lunch.
