Zinfandel (75%) + Grenache (15%):
Slightly pink-ier than previous years, same pinkish-grapefruit color. Sutil but notorious acidity, pink lemonade. Aromatic expressing mostly grapefruit, watermelon, nectarine and mandarin. It is a light and easy to drink wine, ideal as an aperitif and as an uncomplicated drink.
Árbol de Fuego is the first wine in the independent project of Silvana Pijoan, second generation of Vinos Pijoan, a family winery that was born in 2002 by the hand of her father, Pau Pijoan, where the expression of different voices is essential.
Vinos Pijoan was born in 2002 from the hand of Pau Pijoan, a Mexican of Catalan origin that worked previously as a scientist.
This wine falls under his daughter, Silvana’s, solo project. Silvana is the youngest of the Pijoan family’s second gernation and released her first wine under her families labeled . In 2019, she started this solo project focusing on natural wine with no added SO2.
